Fresh fake tan can cause discoloration to the brow tint. I always recommend getting your brow sculpt before fake tanning.
Brow Tattooing Aftercare
-
Your brows will be at their darkest in the first 1-4 days following your initial session.
At day 5-7 a scab will become to form and your brows will begin to flake and shed for up to 10 days.
Once your brows have scabbed and flaked entirely, your brow tattoo may seem lighter in colour, but will return to its expected colour after 2 weeks.
The whole healing process can take up to 6 weeks which is approximately when you’ll be due for your touch up where we can intensify colour, touch up any faded areas, and clean up your shape.
-
Post-appointment aftercare: Just like any cosmetic procedure, the full healing process can take much longer than the initial healing process.
The entire healing process can take up to six weeks.
The first ten days are crucial for the healing process, and 90% of your result will depend on how well you look after them.
You cannot get your healing eyebrows (soaking) wet for the duration of the initial healing process (7-10 days).
You must clean your face with fragrance-free make-up wipes or with a damp face washer.
You must keep your eyebrows (which are wounds) extremely clean. You can do so by gently wiping them daily with a fragrance-free make-up wipe and micellar water or gently washing them with warm soapy water. Please ensure you pat the area dry with a clean tissue immediately afterwards to ensure the scab doesn’t fall off prematurely.
Aftercare ointment needs to be applied daily (after the initial 48 hours).
You will be unable to exercise for the duration of the initial healing process. Exercising will promote sweating which will cause the pigment to push out of the skin, leaving you with a patchy result.
You cannot be exposed to direct sunlight during this period.
Around five days after your procedure, exfoliation will begin to take place. This means that the top layer of the skin will begin to peel off, leaving a softer, lighter colour below.
After this entire process is completed, you can return back to your normal routine.
-
After your initial appointment, a touch up is required approximately 6-8 weeks after your initial session.
The final result will be created at the touch up appointment, where we can correct the shape, colour and saturation of the tattoo.
-
As cosmetic tattoos age, the pigments beneath your skin may alter over time.
The pigments initially implanted into your dermis will break down at different speeds; this is because some molecules are harder for your body to metabolise, and some molecules cannot be metabolised at all. If your body is holding onto certain molecules, it is common to be left with hues of colours, which may require neutralisation. Neutralisation is the process of implanting complementary pigments to attempt to bring the colour back to its original state.
Any maintenance touch ups that you'd wish to book will incur an additional fee as specified on the booking system.

Cosmetic Brow Tattooing is the semi-permanent makeup technique that involves using a needle to deposit pigment into the skin to create fuller brows, correct symmetry and provide longer lasting results than common brow services.
-
Cosmetic tattooing will not wash off and will gradually fade over time as your body metabolises the pigment. It can last from 1-10 years. The duration that the pigment holds a high saturation will depend on factors such as, client’s own metabolism, skin type, sun exposure, medications.
-
A topical anesthetic cream or gel is used for numbing during your procedure. Pain thresholds vary from each individual and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable, however small amounts of discomfort is to be expected

Your brow tattoo will appear more intense, darker and warmer than expected for the first few days. This will gradually lighten and cool during the complete healing process. Redness and swelling are completely normal, but minimal
-
The shape will be carefully mapped and measured, then drawn during your consultation, you will have many opportunities to assess this process and request any alterations before moving forward.
